BASIC plans- The Basic 14 plan includes an equal number of breakfasts/brunches and dinners each week. The Basic 12 and the Basic 10 plans includes any combination of breakfasts/brunches and dinners each week. Meals under the basic plan must be enjoyed during the specified time, and cannot be reserved for later. For example, breakfast must be eaten in the dining hall when the dining hall is serving breakfast.
ANY plans allow students maximum flexibility with their meals. You may eat the allotted weekly meals at any time—breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Class year is determined by the total number of semesters attended at MIT:
Freshmen Semesters 1 & 2

Junior Semesters 5 & 6
