Dining Committees

Working with and listening to the MIT community is fundamental to our success. We continually adapt our menus and services to the needs of the campus. Whether you get involved formally through a committee or just send us an e-mail, your suggestions help us serve you better.

There are a number of dining committees at MIT that provide students, faculty and staff members with the opportunity to help shape the dining services offered to the campus. Students with an interest in dining can speak to (or seek leadership roles with) the Undergraduate Association (UA), Dormitory Council (Dorm Con), Graduate Student Council (GSC) or with their residence's house dining committee.

Students, faculty and staff members interested in getting involved with Dining committees may also contact the Dining office at 617-253-4875.

Blue Ribbon Committee, Nonactive

The Blue Ribbon Committee on Dining was formed in 2007 to examine the structure of Dining at MIT. The Committee completed its charge in May of 2009 and submitted its final report with recommendations to the Dean for Student Life. This committee is no longer active.
